The first album we released from our Studio in the Blackstaff Mill, Belfast. It was the culmination of much audio trickery with sound treatment of the new room and mic placement. With a new mix especially for vinyl, Dale Hughes (Bass player and mixing master) has done wonders. The first two tracks were recorded in our new space with the last track, drift, recorded very near the beginning of us recording our jams. This album is held close to all our hearts and we are delighted to be able to share this with you on 12" Vinyl. Much love, and good listening.

about
As stated at the begging "we summoned the jam"
One of our most experimental pieces, there were sounds created that we had never made before, it was just a complete and utter trip from start to finish.
Recorded with just two mics in the middle of a room, this is definitely Electric Octopus at the rawest form!

Naxatras is what you get when Fu Manchu and The Strokes eat a whole bunch of peyote and wander the desert together for a few days. It's ghostly and trippy, yet deeply rooted in straightforward rhythms and grooves. A solid cruising record for late night drives under the full moon, with a handful of doobies and a quart of mezcal
